Gold Cup conquered<\/strong> by SainteMesme<\/h1>

Last August the French team SainteMesme was proclaimed winner, the winner of the Gold Cup Playtech, after defeating 11 to 10 the Pakistani BN Polo Team at the 49th International Tournament Polo Mansion great final celebrated at Sotogrande Santa Mar\u00eda Polo Club. This trophy is the most important of this sports event and one of the most relevant in the polo universe. The vice-president of the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda and the Tourism minister, Juan Mar\u00edn, and San Roque\u2019s mayor, Juan Carlos Ru\u00edz Boix, attended the final. There have been more than 30 days of intense competition with 10 teams at the highest level which have again set Sotogrande, C\u00e1diz, at a worldwide centre of sports attention, and it has brought together players from USA, Argentina, United Kingdom, France Spain, Sweden, Ireland or Pakistan. The competition lived up to the expectations of a great final, with high emotion until the last minute. Both teams did their best to win the desired title. SainteMesme, which played with his patron Birgerstrom, together with Robert Strom, Clemente Zavaleta and Salvador Jauretche was ahead during the whole competition, but in the sixth chukker or game period in which polo matches of this category are divided, BN Polo Team -integrated by Babar Nassem, Segundo F. Llorente, Pelayo Berazadi and Ezequiel Zubiaurre, ended the game in tie and it was necessary to play an additional time, in which the gold goal decides, goal that was scored by Robert Strom from SainteMesme.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n
