FAIR ATTRACTS ILLUSTRIOUS GUESTS – CELEBRITIES AT OUR FESTIVAL

The Fuengirola Fair is as attractive as the Feria de Jerez or Sevilla or any other. You like to go from year to year, whoever you are, wherever you come from.
The Andalusian party par excellence brings together a series of attractions such as the beauty of the horse, the atmosphere of the bulls, the colourful gypsy costume or the fineness of the short dress, the taste of the fino or the

manzanilla, the good flamenco and the sevillanas dancing that makes us repeat every year.
Celebrities do not escape this kind of attraction either. We have welcomed illustrious guests such as the Nobel Prize winner Mario Vargas Llosa, the actress Victoria Abril, the singer Rocío Jurado and the renowned journalist Carlos Herrera.

Alfonso Galán remembers how a few years ago he went to Tivoli World, where Rocío Jurado was performing, to ask her, please, to be the town crier for that fair. And so it happened, the beloved Rocío Jurado gave an endearing opening speech, she didn't want to charge anything for it, and afterwards they had dinner together at the Mesón El Caballo where this photograph was taken
