Fortes’s bad luck

Fortes got hit by the ruthless bulls at a running full of mishaps. It is not a cliché to say that it is a miracle that he is alive.

That is why it is painful to see his bad luck, because he is a bullfighter, and one of the good ones, who deserves a reward after so much blood shed. His comeback in Fuengirola, with Canal Sur Televisión as a witness, was a hard time for everyone because the bullfight, by Manuel Blázquez from Antequera, constituted an obstacle to a happy comeback due to the complications caused by the bulls’ lack of quality and power.

At least, we were able to see that he is still in shape and that he has no effects left from his last paseíllo (ceremonial entry of bullfighters) at Madrid’s Autumn Fair in 2018. The audience and the other bullfighters were very affectionate towards him. Enrique Ponce, although he is no longer who he once was, cut some very significant ears with no raucousness with which was, overall, the best batch of bulls. Emilio de Justo is still spurring on the bulls and imposed himself on them with strength, despite the deficient performance of his opponents.
